We have a lot of new holiday gift options & goodies to share with you in 2023! Orders can be placed any time and will be automatically placed in the queue according to your dates selected.
Here are some answers to FAQ during the holidays:
Custom:
As Victoria's most premiere and original gift basket company (est. 1989) we process extremely high volumes during the holidays. Therefore, we are unable to create custom baskets during December.
Non-Holiday Fare:
We ask that you select from our holiday fare. If you wish for non holiday fare, please visit our gift box company: Vancouver Island Gift Basket Co.
Orders placed for non holiday GIGIs Gift Baskets will be refunded or held for delivery after Jan. 8th, 2024. Thank you for your understanding.
DELIVERY RATES:
Greater Victoria: Rates: $10-$14.95
- Scheduled by the week (not by a specific date) - Dec. 4th-8th, Dec. 11th-16th, Dec. 18th-23rd.
Malahat to Campbell River
- BASKET Courier Rates: $29.95 -$39.95.
- GIFT BOXES Shipping Rates: $10-$17.95
Mainland, Interior, West & North Coast Van Island and other parts of Canada
- GIFT BOX Shipping Rate: $10- $17.95
Vancouver Island Gift Boxes: Vancouver Island Gift Basket Co.
- Van Island Gift Boxes (holiday & regular fare) are available from our sister company: Vancouver Island Gift Basket Co. through out December.
- Gift BOX shipping rates: Greater Victoria - $10; Vancouver Island & BC: $10 (without Alcohol), $17.95 (with Alcohol); Out of Province: $10 - $17.95
All Gift Baskets, Boxes & Bags:
- Non holiday fare is not available in December with the exception of birthdays, baby and bereavement.
- Van Island Gift BOXES: Holiday and Standard fare are available in a Vancouver Island Gift Box throughout Dec.
- Pick up: We are home based in Colwood. Pick up is available with orders placed in advanced and available almost any day, any time, weekends & evenings pending we've been given adequate advance notice to assemble your gift. You will receive a text when your order is ready and an address will be provided then. (We are located 3 min from the intersection of Sooke Rd/Vet Memorial Pkwy).
- Corporate Clients: For multiple gifts, contact us directly.
- Fewer Elves: We process considerable volumes during the holidays and due to local staff shortages, we are working with a smaller team of Christmas elves than usual. As a result, we have pared down our selections and are limiting custom creations to multiple corporate orders only. Please select from our GiGi's Holiday Basket or Van Island Gift Box fare.
- Requests for substitutions for items we have in stock are still ok. Please place your order through our website and make your substitution requests in the 'NOTE' section at checkout. This will slide your order into the queue without delay. We review each order personally and will contact you if we have questions or if additional fees apply.

- (Dispatch - 250-857- 1400). We do not have a designated phone receptionist, thus phone access is limited and it may take 24-48 hours or more to return calls.
- Check your Spam/Junk Folder: Tracking info., delivery confirmation emails and/or receipts sometimes land in your junk folder. Please check your folder before reaching out to us. If not there, by all means, please contact us via text or email.
- Mylar Holiday Balloons are complimentary and available in the local Greater Victoria area. These are available only while supplies last, first delivered, first served.
- A 'Seasons Greetings' holiday card is included with each gift. At checkout, you'll be asked for your personalized message.
