The best way to request customization:
Choose the gift basket that is closest in theme and budget range to what you desire and place your order online. At check out, use the NOTE section to specify the customization desired.
We are a small business and review every order personally. Ordering online ensures we have the information we need to fulfill your order, avoiding delays caused by missing details.
Substitutions for Preferences / Vegan / Dairy Free / Allergies, etc.
In the event that you would like us to remove or include specific items to your order, we’re happy to do when the requested items are in our inventory.
If we are simply substituting one similar priced item for another - lets say, tea instead of coffee or no nuts/no dairy or “please make it vegan”, then there is no need to do anything else. We’ll follow along with your notes!
If, however, you wish for us to add additional items, i.e. “please top up my order with more goodies by $50” or “ add smoked salmon” or “add a fancy soap and a candle” we will do so and send you an e-invoice for the additional items. The e-invoice is generated by SQUARE and is easy to use; no memberships or accounts required, just a simple online invoice payable via credit card. It really is quite simple.
For items that we do not have in stock and require that we shop for on your behalf, we will notify you if we are able to accommodate and provide an estimate cost for the handling fee.
Please note that in December we are unable to personal shop or make ‘start from scratch’ custom gift baskets due to the vastly increased volume of orders being processed.
Simple items like: "Please add red Twizzlers’"- we will do so if we have easy access to them and it doesn’t require a special trip to the market. If we have to make a special trip just to retrieve 'twizzlers' then our hourly shopping rate applies.
